ABOUT THE PASTOR

Pastor David Vivas, Jr. was born in the city of Delano, CA. At the age of 12, he gave his heart to Jesus Christ. At 13, he received the experience recorded in Acts 2:4. It was during this time that God began to deal with him about becoming a Minister of the gospel.

In April 1982, Pastor David preached his first sermon at a local Pentecostal Church. Since then, he has ministered in a number of churches, having traveled as an Evangelist for several years.

Though in his heart, he knew he’d someday Pastor a church, little did he know that God had plans for him to Pastor a church in his hometown of Delano.

In November 2000, the ministry of World Harvest Int’l Church was birthed. The group of believers consisting of about 30 met at a small hall and soon within a month, relocated to a city facility. After 6 months, the growing congregation acquired a former furniture warehouse facility and converted it into a beautiful auditorium. The facility was purchased and paid for in August 2002. Currently, the facility is being utilized to its’ maximum capacity and are currently looking for a larger location.

In July 2003, Pastor David was ordained by Dr. Frederick K.C. Price, Pastor of Crenshaw Christian Center located in Los Angeles, CA which is home of the FaithDome. Pastor David has been a member of Dr. Prices’ ministerial fellowship called Fellowship Of Inner City Word Of Faith Ministries (www.ficwfm.org) since 1997.

Pastor David has been called to reach the lost, disciple them and teach them Biblical Faith. He also emphasizes in developing Christian character by following the Biblical teaching of ethics, principles and integrity.

Pastor David teaches the uncompromised Word of God. His direct approach challenges the heart to rise up to a higher level in their walk with God. The Word not only challenges the heart, it causes God’s people to reinforce the foundation of their faith.

Ministry materials by Pastor David are available at all meetings. The teachings are recorded on CD and books by Pastor David will soon be available on various topics.
